Magic the Gathering: If I enchant an opponent's creature with Lifelink, do I get the life gained?
Would I get the life gained or would my opponent? We've been debating this.

- Your opponent I believe
- I think not. Once you enchant an opponents creature with an enchantment it becomes that players enchantment so they would gain the life from it. I am not 100 percent sure though
- The controller of the creature with lifelink will gain life equal to damage dealt by that creature. * 702.13. Lifelink o 702.13a Lifelink is a static ability. Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that source’s controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes). See rule 118.3. o 702.13b Multiple instances of lifelink on the same object are redundant.
