Magic the gathering cards website for how much theyre worth?
Okay so we found a book at work full of different cards about 600 of these cards are magic the gathering we assumed that these were worth nothing and ignored them then began looking up prices for the he-man spider man x-men peanut cards and such. Well come to find out these cards are quite popular. (the magic the gathering ones) So does anyone know of a website where theres a list of cards and all the prices. I googled but u have to pay.

- http://findmagiccards.com/ is a pretty good site. they give an estimate for every card and it's usually pretty accurate.
- starcitygames.com is usually pretty good, i go there all the time. :) just look up the card and you can see how much they're asking for it. :) Usually the card value is around that price.
- To get the best prices, you could look up the cards on ebay. Ebay values are probably the most accurate since there aren't as many middleman costs in those prices.
- i think there is also a magazine that has a complete list of cards and also the prices.. the name of the magazine was SCRYE.. i got this magazine about 2 years ago. i dont know if its still in print. its on sale online but you can buy scrye magazines on magazine shops and each issue has an updated pricelist of mtg cards and also other cards at the last pages. i checked out their website and i think they still print it. or you can go to any hobby shop which sells magic they also have prices there.. you can also go to www.wizards/magic and just read anything there to have an idea of what magic cards are.. one magic card can cost from 1 dollar up to 40 dollars or more. depending on the card. hoped i helped you..
- Card kingdom .com is a good site to look. I think that you can sell them there too.
- Depending on whether Scythe has a website, it's the magazine with current pricing. Other places I try are as follows: www.blackborder.com www.starcitygames.com www.apathyhouse.com, but this is more for comparative trading and the prices are usually lower due to the average price you get for the cards on e-bay without shipping costs. Google MTG Card prices and search there as well. That should get you an approximate value for your cards. If you think they are worth something, check you local comic book and shops that may sell individual cards and whatever they are selling the cards for, is about the trading price, if not just a bit higher. Hope this helps
