At the San Deigo comic con 2008 Magic the Gathering gave out Planeswalker deck boxes anyone have a card list? ? There were 5 different deck boxes 30 cards each, white, green, black, red, and blue. Magic: The Gathering price list of all cards? Here's the deal: I played magic 10 years ago and I got almost all my cards from a guy who played magic 10 years before that. I have so many incredibly old cards floating around in this box in my room. Recently I've really gotten into magic and I'm starting to play again. The thing is I only play Standard (for now) which means my card pool is currently ~70 with another 500 cards I can't use cause they're wayyyyy old. Question about a weird MAGIC THE GATHERING card I found, PLEASE HELP!? Ok, my little brother passed away a few months ago and my Mother gave me his collection of Magic the Gathering cards to add to my own. I was going through them last night an I found a card that I've never seen before (I don't really play the game, I just have a very large collection of the cards.) Anyways, the back of the card looks like all of the other ones, but the front of the card has just a picture of a squirrel that appears to be holding something that looks like a fig newton in its hand. The border of the card is silver (if that even means anything,) and at the bottom is says "Illus. Ron Spencer." Underneath that is says "c1993-1998 Wizards of the Coast, Inc. 94/94 Killer." Can anyone tell me what the heck this card is? I mean is it even a playable card? I looked up some info on Ron Spencer an found a gallery of his cards, but this one wasn't listed. I've tried, but I'm not really finding any info. Am I just not looking in the right places? No, its definetly not a fake. How do I find the value & edition of Magic The Gathering cards? I found a box of Magic cards dated on the bottom 1994 & 1995. Some are black bordered, some are white bordered. All cards are in good condition (no bends, wear, etc), and I have been searching online on a way to find out their value. Because I've never played, collected, or understood this game, I am not sure how to determine the value & what edition they are. Some of the sites I looked up list the card, but the picture is different from the one on the cards I have. Is there any way to do the research myself before taking it to a card shop? Magic The Gathering Cards: Editions to Rareties. How to find out? I was recently looking through a bunch of older things and I found a box that has around 500 or so Magic cards. I wanted to find out how to tell what edition and if the card is rare by looking at them, since I have never played Magic I have no clue. I wanted to do so because they were just sitting in storage and I would like to make some money out of them if it was worth it. Most of the cards are dated '93-'99, some are '95, and even some aren't even dated. I have a lot that are black bordered and a lot that are white bordered. On the middle right hand side there is some with gold, most with silver, and the rest with black. I can't tell what edition any of them are so I could check a price list. If anyone knows how to decipher the edition of the card or names I should look out for that would be worth anything, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for you time reading this question.

What Magic the Gathering Cards give creatures tap abilities? I'm looking for a list of all the cards that can be used to give a creature an activated ability that requires the creature to tap and has no other costs associated with it. Color isn't relevant, just the effect. This was just refering to ability to freely give those abilities. Granted, Slivers have wiggle room because you can make all creatures slivers. That said, I didn't initially consider cards that have their own activated abilities which have no cost besides tapping one untapped creature or cards that have effects that are activated automatically when a card is tapped or untapped, but they're useful too. And in case anyone who's knowledgable about magic didn't get this, yea, I'm looking for interaction with a new mechanic, namely the untap mechanic. Unfortunately, I don't know of any magic sites which allow you to search based on that criteria and the only one which came to mind immiediately was archane learnings, and I was hoping that somebody had a list or a few lists somewhere.

What 2 decks in Magic: The Gathering are great to duel against? Me and my friend want to start playing, but can't decide what decks we both want. However we want a match that will last long and require much thought. We don't really enjoy playing fast decks such as the goblin or faerie deck. We want a game that will last many turns and be pretty much fairly even between the 2 decks with some advantages the other does not have in both. I would appreciate it if you could first specify what colors our 2 decks should be (We were planning on having an at least 2 color deck). And then maybe list a few strong cards that should be included in either of the decks to give us both a guideline on what we should look for. Also is there any website out there that makes it easy to find a card in Magic: The Gathering? Like if I don't know the name of it but i know what color I am looking for and if I need a spell or creature and what-not... Please list keep the cards within Extended format.

Advice On Magic the Gathering Deck? So I am putting together a deck based largely on Saprolings and Mycoloth for a Casual Tournament. The only problem I have been having is mass removal spells, or more accurately stopping the destruction of all my creatures. Is there anything to counter this (my example would be Loxodon Heirarch, who I can sacrifice to regenerate all my creatures.) Thanks for the help. Okay so, I'm looking to buy a Lord of Atlantis in a playset (4 copies) The Time-Shifted cards are waaaay too expensive for me and I'm getting tired of being countered sniped on E-bay due my lack of funds. So this lead me to thinking about whether or not you could go forth and purchase a Lord of Atlantis from a different set and play it in the current set seeing as it is currently one of the cards listed in Standard. For instance, if I was to buy a card from 7th edition or 4th edition or even the DCI foil edition of the Lord of Atlantis. Would these cards be legal in Type 2? Please let me know and if not then I would greatly appreciate it, if you could inform me of a place where I could find this playset for under 15 dollars, though I'm willing to compromise. Thank you.
